Welcome to The Puurfect Groom
Specialising in cat grooming services, we cater to cats who struggle with the grooming process. We offer sedation administered and monitored exclusively by a veterinarian. We work out of Highlands Veterinary Hospital in Braemar, and open only on Sundays when the practice is closed to veterinary patients. This ensures a quiet and stress-free environment for our patients. We also offer in-home grooming, coming to you and your kitty in the comfort of your own home.
For geriatric cats and those with chronic health conditions, we offer complimentary veterinary consultations prior to sedation. During this visit, we review your cat’s medical history, discuss whether pre‑anaesthetic blood testing is appropriate, and consider fluid therapy to ensure the safest and most comfortable experience possible.

Amanda is a veterinary nurse, TAFE teacher and qualified groomer with years of experience grooming and caring for cats. She has worked in veterinary clinics throughout the Southern Highlands and teaches up- and -coming animal lovers in animal studies. Her passion lies in cat grooming, which is fortunate as she shares her home with 6 long-

Amanda's heart is as big as her home which is filled with cats, Bassets, Dachshunds, chooks, 3 rambunctious boys and a long suffering husband.
